Informal establishment of Center for WATER PEACE happened on The Water Day, March 22nd, 2020, When Covid happened in the initial phase of lock down. Formal existence happened when CWP became as an trust on 29 Dec. 2020. Since CWP inception leading institutions has been associates in several projects and activities. Water is a great connector and peace building medium, CWP was conceptualized for amplifying the vision of water conservation through dialogue and deliberations and keeping History, science, culture and technological aspects into consideration. CWP having wide spectrum of members of all major stakeholders from homemakers to Industry professionals.

A Shanti Mantra is a prayer for the Peace, often recited in religious rituals and ceremonies. The word Shanti comes from Sanskrit which means peace and that stands to remove obstacles and calm the three reals: Physical, Devine and Internal. Somewhere it said into ” May harmony rule all over the world, in water and in all herbs, tree and creepers.”

To awakening the dormant sensibilities of the society towards making the sustainable way of development in order to meaningful usage of the extinct natural resources like water and ensure the peace all around. And putting efforts to make the land of Bharat ” Sasya Shyamlam” by coordinating the society and state in the services for water peace
